“We stayed at the cottage next door to The Fox & Hound this past weekend for 3 nights. It is a lovely cottage (300yrs old approximately) and has lots of character. Christine, the Landlady, is absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. I would absolutely recommend staying here - beautiful location with lovely views and country walks (also a hub if you want to experience the east side of the Scottish Borders)”

“Called in at the Fox & Hound in Denholm for the first time on our way back from Hawick today What a lovely wee, welcoming pub. Spotlessly clean, lovely atmosphere, welcoming landlord,nice open fire, so cosy and comforting. We had lunch. Food was excellent and plenty of it, great prices. Its 35ml for a spirit. If you are out that way, defo well worth a visit. We will definitely be back.”

Owner Stuart was efficient, entertaining and made everyone feel very welcome Indeed. The pub is in the very beautiful Scottish Borders village of Denholm, which has a terrific village green. Had a wonderful time and will return.”
